Poisoned apples, anyone?
These purple-colored green apples are naturally colored with butterfly pea flower tea and lemon juice, which turns the apples purple!
The longer you soak the apples, the darker purple they will turn.
I served these apples with peanut butter, but caramel sauce would be delightful too!

Instructions:
Soak the sliced apples in strong brewed butterfly pea flower tea and 1/4 cup of lemon juice.

Soap making is a fun project, especially around the holidays (soap makes a gift)! Below is a simple charcoal soap recipe made with a melt-and-pour base.
This melt and pour soap contains activated charcoal and tea tree oil, both are wonderful for the skin and are great for oily skin types. My teen loves this soap and uses it to wash her body and face.
Easy Charcoal Soap (Melt & Pour)
Ingredients
4 Round Silicone Mold (I used this moon shaped mold)
10 oz. Aloe Vera Melt and Pour Soap Base or Shea Butter Melt and Pour Base
1 Tabelspoon Jojoba Oil
1 Teaspoon Activated Charcoal
40-45 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
99% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
Instructions:
Clean the molds with alcohol and set aside.
Mix the jojoba oil with the activated charcoal in a small bowl. Mix vigorously to ensure the charcoal dissolves into the oil.
Next, melt the soap base in a glass bowl in the microwave or over a double boiler. Once the base is melted, add the charcoal mixture and essential oils.
Use a rubber spatula to mix the soap with the charcoal until it's thoroughly combined.
Quickly pour the base into the molds.
Spray the soap with a spritz of alcohol to dissolve bubbles on the surface.
